Bring a warm, natural atmosphere to the table with this alder wood serving board. The board is cut from a single piece and retains its original bark all the way around, meaning every version looks slightly different. Alder wood has a light, subtle grain that makes appetisers stand out; perfect for drinks platters, bread with dips or sweets with coffee.
The boards are supplied untreated. That feels pure and authentic and gives you the freedom to finish them yourself. For intensive hospitality or retail use, we recommend a food-safe oil or lacquer to protect against moisture and stains. After use, clean with a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, do not let them soak and do not place them in the dishwasher. Air dry upright. Avoid prolonged heat.
Because this is a natural product, length (± 40–46 cm), width and shape may vary slightly; knots, small hairline cracks or colour differences are also part of the character of real wood. The bark is sturdy but remains an organic element — treat the board with care and it will stay beautiful for a long time.
